Our Base

Woods Taxis is a taxi company based in Builth Wells, Powys. The market town of Builth Wells is set in the heart of Mid Wales a stones throw away from the Brecon Beacons. The town is also home of the annual Royal Welsh Show which currently stands as the biggest agricultural show in Europe. Woods Taxis boasts being the closest taxi company to the showground which hosts various events over the year bringing thousands of people to the area.

Our History

Woods Taxis was established in 2005 by owner Kelvin Wood. Woods Taxis is a family run business which was originally set up as a part time venture by its owner. The business has steadily grown and now consists of three vehicles and three drivers. With the launch of our website and increased workload there is no reason why Woods Taxis cannot progress further.
